OMG in case I want to relive the stuckness fest! 🤣 Literally the only fun and enjoyable thing about this workshop was Teal's gorgeous red velvet trouser suit... 😍🤩🥰😘 It looked like my favourite top from childhood! And I didn't even get to go on stage and give Teal a hug after all she has been through recently (and stroke her jacket...). 🥲
  2. Teal, is it possible that you have Ehlers Danlos hypermobility? It often goes unrecognised and can cause poor quality scar tissue because of abnormal collagen. If often goes unnoticed and would be consistent with your body type. Worth checking out so you can get extra support in case of future operations.

Wow. That husband and wife. That's us... 😢

You've got London - and the English - to a T, Ms T with a cup of tea... 👍😜😘 It is indeed total overwhelm to visit, I haven't been in years, but am making an exception for you especially on Sunday! 😍 Can't wait!!! As a non native I definitely have England-induced Tourrette's and have been in trouble about my inappropriate blurtings out many times. It now takes me 50 minutes to write a 3 sentence email, wondering if I may be causing offence by being too blunt, too direct, not apologetic enough... 😄😂😂 PS: Hey, you forgot something! It is also the most vegetarian friendly country in the Western world...

So sorry to hear about your hysterectomy, Teal! :"-(

Really resonated with that one, the whole crowd, the vibe of the place, the laughter, could identify with so much, even the San Francisco bubble... The "I'm an alien" guy was lovely, I'd totally start a houseshare with him. So long as he wouldn't expect me to be his Mommy and do the laundry...
  7. What if I cannot conceive of anything that anyone would consider of value in me? Where does that put my worth. Maybe I am a horse in a world where NOONE wants a horse?!

The "how do you become an empath" part - so true!!! The news that I can choose where my attention goes - mind blown!!! 😂😂😂 Hyperattunement scanning the environment for threats (AKA people who are about to turn on you because of their emotions) is such a huge aspect of my existence, the relentless threat focus second nature, I've never questioned it.

Loving this workshop!!! I think I have a link to Scandinavia, everything applies to me, having to do it all yourself etc. I really want to know what became of the Icelandic man making gold sculptures! My late Dad was an amazingly capable sculptor and worked with sheet metal (copper), he could make a whole lifelike head from a single sheet, facial features and all. I only recently discovered how phenomenally powerfully the few remaining pieces I have of his are: they helped insulate me against some extreme form of psychic attack. Humanity does not know the half of the powers of most metals, I am sure.

Focus on selfcare, and be gentler to yourself. If these horrible events you are anticipating really are coming your way, you need to be well looked after in order to deal with them when they arrive, not torn to shreds by doubt, guilt and fear, before you even encounter the bad situation.

Interesting philosophical conundrum: who is doing the blaming? (Is there some parts work in order maybe?) 😉

Government / "the powers that be" (if they weren't trying to micromanage and control every aspect of our lives the world would be so much better a place)...
  13. Very good observations! I am a native German and visited Berlin in the aftermath of unification (in 1995, so 5-6 years after) and the contrast between East and West was stark, like a bone-graft that had gone wrong and the bones had started healing without having been properly set in place. A latent agression was there, but hope thanks to that amazing counter culture. I loved the graffiti, took many photos, and felt angry about an English tourist conplaining about it. I also agree it's the epitome of the whole of Germany, thus appropriate as a capital, but volatile from all that suppressed shame bubbling like a volcano just beneath the surface. The rise of neo nazism as an ideology is an expression of that. Very hard to find vegetarian / dairy free food, true! And that restaurant example is excellent. It's the national sport to cover up the ugly and hope for a new beginning without having processed the pain underneath, at both a personal and societal level. I had to leave Germany and am no longer a vibrational match, I dread going, but when I do it gives me heart and there is a sense of hope and improvement struggling against all that suppressed trauma, like plants coming up through cracks in the concrete...
  14. Oh my God! This workshop is AMAZING! I found it because I looked up "Motivation" and the "how do I get out of bed" question appealed to me. But ALL of these are so relevant to both myself and my husband, and are things we have literally been talking about and wondering about for several days if not weeks! Gotta listen again and make notes. I felt the adoptee section applied more broadly to unwanted children in general.

Sufisue commented on Teal Swan Team - Gabija's question in 100 Questions
Improving my relationship with my husband. I used to make a lot of effort and he made none. At some stage I decided I was tired of trying and vowed to not take another step towards him if he doesn't take a step first. Problem is, he is so afraid if rejection he never takes a step towards anything. So it's a perpetual impasse. I don't feel ready to drop that attitude as of yet though. He needs to get off his backside and do some work on his childhood issues rather than wallow in them forever and blame his upbringing for not taking control of his life. I am spent. I can't keep trying to coax, caretake and reparent his inner child with no cooperation from him.

  18. Wow, I live this post!!! Was looking for a video I couldn't remember the title for and found this. OMG! I had wanted to be at the Stockholm workshop, had felt so pulled there, but it coincided with what would have been my beloved Stepmum's 90th birthday, so I went to Birmingham instead. It was OK, but when I later watched the Stockholm recording I realised how much that was my crowd!!! Absolutely everything you say here resonates with me, the skin of the people, the energy of settling, the quality of the light, the water, how people share the warmth of their home and hearth by not having net curtains... And what you say of the vegetation is true of Germany too, plants get abused and subjugated, it hurts! My Dad let our garden grow wild, lovingly tended but wild, we were the eccentric house surrounded by jungle. After his death gradually the trees got cut down, one of the biggest pains and losses of my life. The garden was a magical forest to me as a child. I laughed and cried throughout this article. It made me homesick for the Black Forest where we spent family holidays. I remember sensing the silent darkness of the trees. A favourite line of mine from a German lullaby folk song is "The forest stands black and unspeaking, and from the meadows rises the mist wonderfully". Gosh, and your description of the Christmas market made me feel homesick too, I saw it through your eyes with the eyes of a child again. And what you said about Neuschwanstein and poor Ludwig was so poignant. I know what shame to be yourself is, but not on this epic scale. Yes, the Autobahns are scary!!! I was not a speed freak and my driving instructor kept putting the foot down on me in lessons. Later in the UK, not realising there was a speedlimit, I found myself for the first and only time being that bat of out hell, thinking "weird, why is noone overtaking me?" LOL. A beautifully written and insightful article. Glad it found me! Thanks Teal, you made me cry buckets, it was a huge emotional release. Much love to you!!! 😊 💕 🙏
  19. Was going to "attend", but was there in spirit and those topics definitely all resonate with me. Will have to listen again and make notes, so much to digest. Thank you, Teal, for your brutal honesty.
