Ask Yourself...

#56

What am I not taking responsibility for that I know I need to take responsibility for?

(Answer In The Comments Below )
From "100 Of The Most Powerful Questions You Can Ask Yourself"

Nothing has the power to completely alter perspective and therefore your thoughts and actions and life quite like a question. Inquiry leads to understanding. The quality of the answers we arrive at, correspond directly to the quality of question we ask. The better the question, the better the answer. One of the most important things to realize about a question is that a person learns far, far more from the process and work involved in answering a question than from the answer itself. This is why spiritual teachers throughout history (including myself) have tended to pose so many questions to their students rather than to simply offer a direct answer. For this reason, I have selected a collection of 100 of the most powerful questions that you can ask yourself.

Make sure to take time to carefully consider each question that is posed in order to meaningfully answer them. And don’t forget to come back to these questions again and again throughout your life, especially whenever you are feeling stuck, because the answers will most likely change over the course of your life and also cause you to change your course in life.

I wanted help to construct my guidance system. To know in which way i want to dance. Not to necessary follow it. But to have a point of reference on which i can make my decisions. This question makes me see the part of me that wants guidance is also having issues taking ownership my path. Sometimes i am lazy and for me taking ownership is energy consuming. It feels like i have to carry the weight of [my] world. Why is it like that? Perhaps i have a resistance towards taking myself lightly.. [Ganz normale Angst" maybe i am afraid that if i don't take it seriously, i'm not worth it. But i don't have to take it seriously"heavy", just fully in its wholeness. With what i know/what i don't know

Improving my relationship with my husband. I used to make a lot of effort and he made none. At some stage I decided I was tired of trying and vowed to not take another step towards him if he doesn't take a step first. Problem is, he is so afraid if rejection he never takes a step towards anything. So it's a perpetual impasse. I don't feel ready to drop that attitude as of yet though. He needs to get off his backside and do some work on his childhood issues rather than wallow in them forever and blame his upbringing for not taking control of his life. I am spent. I can't keep trying to coax, caretake and reparent his inner child with no cooperation from him.

I just discovered “Letting Go: The Pathway to Surrender” by David Hawkins MD and it’s helping a LOT. Hope this blesses someone else in the same spot.

For my natural leadership characteristics that I've never been able to fully develop. I absolutely hate it , when I say something (being in a position of nobody) and seeing, everyone going to that direction. I didn't know my words have a an real effect. I hate it! I wanna be dead-silent.
