Ask Yourself...

#28

What do I want my life to be in service of?

(Answer In The Comments Below )
From "100 Of The Most Powerful Questions You Can Ask Yourself"

Nothing has the power to completely alter perspective and therefore your thoughts and actions and life quite like a question. Inquiry leads to understanding. The quality of the answers we arrive at, correspond directly to the quality of question we ask. The better the question, the better the answer. One of the most important things to realize about a question is that a person learns far, far more from the process and work involved in answering a question than from the answer itself. This is why spiritual teachers throughout history (including myself) have tended to pose so many questions to their students rather than to simply offer a direct answer. For this reason, I have selected a collection of 100 of the most powerful questions that you can ask yourself.

Make sure to take time to carefully consider each question that is posed in order to meaningfully answer them. And don’t forget to come back to these questions again and again throughout your life, especially whenever you are feeling stuck, because the answers will most likely change over the course of your life and also cause you to change your course in life.

To further explain. 1. I want to help people who are less likely to use the help wich is provided by the government, because their personal issues or fear towards the government is too strong or they believe they won't actually receive any actual help from there. I want to be like an alternative to that.

And I don't need them to be 100% responsible or aware or what not about the situation, not at all. That's not what I meant let me explain.. If they don't add fire to the fuel and have a little piece of humility. I'm fine with them and I'm there. If they are workable. (I won't help people in a crisis who don't actually want a conflict to end and are unworkable)

Here's an example a woman has bpd whenever her physically abusive (emotionally and physically distant) husband sets a distancing boundary, she won't ever leave him alone and goes at him and terrorizes him, even if there was a possibility of stabilizing the whole situation (because she can't have the feeling of beeing alone, and not having a relationship, she prefers conflict). As a result he comes after her. Also she doesn't put any thought into how to get away from this man, all she ever does is drink alcohol. This woman I wouldn't want to help. Really there are people who say they want help and change when all they do.. Their actions are the opposite. I would briefly talk to her, and send her over to someone else.

I don't want to be someones hero and new attachment figure, I want to be an asset to people who want to rescue themselves.

If though the situation was different if she actually tried to avoid further physical harm and distress for her kids, or actually tried to find and want a way out. Ide be tottaly on board 100%

A person who wants help needs a small piece of (self) awareness and humility. (in my opinion)

I want my life to be in service of building a more loving, inclusive world; a world where everyone feels jubilant within and lives their life as an expression of their joy.

I want to build a world where people work not to earn their bread but to truly be of service to humanity.

I want a world where humanity can maximise and realize their highest potential.
