Ask Yourself...

#29

If I did one thing for myself, not anyone else for the rest of my life, what would it be?

(Answer In The Comments Below )
From "100 Of The Most Powerful Questions You Can Ask Yourself"

Nothing has the power to completely alter perspective and therefore your thoughts and actions and life quite like a question. Inquiry leads to understanding. The quality of the answers we arrive at, correspond directly to the quality of question we ask. The better the question, the better the answer. One of the most important things to realize about a question is that a person learns far, far more from the process and work involved in answering a question than from the answer itself. This is why spiritual teachers throughout history (including myself) have tended to pose so many questions to their students rather than to simply offer a direct answer. For this reason, I have selected a collection of 100 of the most powerful questions that you can ask yourself.

Make sure to take time to carefully consider each question that is posed in order to meaningfully answer them. And don’t forget to come back to these questions again and again throughout your life, especially whenever you are feeling stuck, because the answers will most likely change over the course of your life and also cause you to change your course in life.

Let myself of the hook.

Stop living the life I have to live. Live a life I want to live.

Read the first part and thought: make shure I'm not alone and I have company.

There has been a part in me who shamed me for this desire for many years, now the pain of not excepting this want or need is canceling out the shame.

When I read the question till the end: everyday a cup of tea, and a piece of chocolate:)

Living in the now as good as I can. No planning or strategizing, or fantazising about future or past situation, no worrying (and only for what actually feels good)

Feeling my feelings, atleast beeing aware of them and taking them as part of me (not  pushing them away or distracting myself from them constantly)

Trusting myself.

A very simple thing.

Don't let circumstances, or people, or "no time" force me into decision making. If I don't know what to do.

If I don't know what to do, I do dumb things, without brains, "I've learned". I don't know what, so here is just something:) Wich leads to catastrophes, chaos, or just a bad time.

If I get the feeling of not knowing, or this isn't quite right, but I don't know what is. Allways set a moment aside to figure things out before doing anything.

This I would want to give to myself.

And I consciously choose the consequence of life probably beeing slower, me beeing less fruitful. But the fruit beeing way more tasty.
