To be agreeable, polite, friendly, considerate, placid and pleasing all the time, a person has to not reveal their actual thoughts and feelings. They also have to hide anything they do that people would find displeasing or cause conflict, from view. This means that 'nice' people are inauthentic, dishonest and actively engaged in deception. They just have to keep you from knowing it!
