A relationship is only real when you are in a relationship with the reality of someone. There is only closeness in a relationship when you see, hear, feel and know each other. The consequence for not being honest in a relationship is that the relationship that you are building is an illusion. And you are choosing to put space between you and the other person, so that both of you are alone.
