What does emotional maturity mean to you? Also isn't the the phrase "stop crying like a baby" invalidating to the emotional side of humans. Isn't to be patronizing to your own emotions and to choose to "stop crying" an abandonment of the aspect of you that is still a child? Wouldn't it be better to integrate than to abandon? Wouldn't abandoning your emotions only reflect into the world as suffering to others and yourself? It seems your comments make you seem very separate from others emotionally. You say that it's the emotional immaturity that makes it so. Or are you only invalidating other's emotions because you invalidate your own? So what is emotional maturity and why is "stop crying like a baby" the answer?
