Hi Garnet,
Thanks for replying to my post. When I wrote the post, I was checking in with myself and that’s what came up for me and I stand by what I wrote.
To speak to your questions in your post, I feel I’ll start at the bottom and work my way up.
When it comes to my vote and casting it in the way I did, it came with the intent to serve like a pressure release valve. You see sometime operating at 100% pressure all the time is not optimum. As someone attending the event my vote is maybe one out of several hundred and wasn’t to suggest a complete course change but to consider the wellbeing along the way. Sometimes even a moment of consideration is healing too.
There is something else that has called me to these events, and I don’t have a sure name for it.
Teal and her Team overdeliver with how they are and what they do. That’s where growth is at. My experience from the events and meeting with them felt like a real gift they gave me, it’s a gift that’s available to everyone attending whether they see it or not. I felt like in considering everything in the exchange, I received more than I gave. It never felt like “donating”, it felt like being included and considered. (That takes into account all costs, energy, time, event ticket, plane ticket, hotel, rental car, etc. – I received more than all of that to be there at that point in time with them.)
I agree with the word responsibility that you described for those who have already paid. I feel responsibility too and the importance of keeping promises. Teal did a great video on keeping promises. Let’s picture this in the example of Teal’s event: If the expectations brought by attendees are juxtaposed to Teal’s health in that moment, then her options alone are not great. That’s why, as an attendee, I cast my vote in advance for Teal’s and her Team’s health going forward. Our options and choices together are greater than alone. Two options that come together make a third. It’s an Alchemized Vote.
There are a lot of possibilities in that creativity. Teal talks about getting really creative in your relationships. I think there are a lot of options when people are really honest and open. I’m more entrepreneurial which comes with it’s own challenges by nature rather than working for someone else, I work for well...”for a lot of people.”
You asked about women’s causes…I’ve attended a friend of mine’s equine workshop out with her horses. She’s does primarily work with women entrepreneurs and supports women owned businesses. I was the odd man out in attending but found it very beneficial. I didn’t attend because they are women. I was drawn to the honesty of conversations that are had between them that you don’t often find between men. It's what’s real that draws me in, it’s in authenticity. Their openness and vulnerability they shared is a strength and not a weakness in anyway. I don’t advocate for women or men to give up their Power in the name of vulnerability. The way I feel it, it is strength and even question whether it can genuinely be called solely feminine as it is healing for both. The reason being I have tested it in a real way, which led me to run up a mountain. It was a very light feeling, without resistance in my body or from thoughts. There was something about it along with something she posted about, “there’s magic in a horse’s breath.” I went out to some horses near where I live, after that post, and felt what she was talking about. I felt it when the horse breathed in my hand and on my wrist. That was the cadence I breathed with going up the mountain. It made what would be a one year goal into something that can be done in a day. It was “getting into alignment first”, which I learned later from Teal. Compared with just masculine forward movement and determination, there’s no comparison once you experience that. It’s like stumbling upon a tear in the fabric of the universe and looking into it and deciding to go for it. How can you not want to question other limiting beliefs after experiencing that. What I learned from her was well worth it and far more than I paid. She also over delivered.
When experiencing people in that way, like Teal and her Team, I can’t not want what’s best for them and want them all to be well and healthy.
I hear your voice and concerns within your first paragraph and want you to know how you feel is valid and those are all real concerns. You mentioned intuition…with intuition and creativity there is an openness that I rely upon and find it can present open doors or a path, it’s rarely fully clear but enough to take a few steps. It’s in that willingness where things begin to shift and make a way. Often times we just need to reach a new vantage point or experience to see it…there is so much there for all of us…
I can’t guarantee that venturing out into something new or the unknown, that like you said, “nothing terrible is going to happen” just like the outcome of going up that mountain could have been very different. But what I can say is that I wouldn’t have discovered what I did about myself if I wouldn’t have followed it and taken a chance on my higher self into the unknown. It led me to Teal’s workshops to, so that means there is something there for me too. More to discover and more to be part of…
