    Contribution

Thankfully, we’ve built up enough financial wealth to basically do what we want with our 2nd half of life and have income streams coming through as well. My dear husband has been working a job that he dislikes for years. He actually frequently states he’d like to be a stay-at-home dad.....I want to make his wish come true. He’s also great doing various other “stuff,” as he loves staying busy. I just want to live with intentional purpose. Living in the US is so hard. It is so triggering. Last night my 10 year old mentioned seeing a classmate at the pool and I couldn’t keep myself

    Life In One Word

    Epic.....and love it
  6. We’d love to be a part of this. Ironically we already live in this type of community and I wasn’t aware how awesome it was until recently. But in knowing Teal’s gifts and willingness to be authentic and change our world for the better-anything we can do to directly support her is where our energy belongs and honestly needs to be.....or rather wants to be. Let’s chat to see what that would look like. I’ve got some ideas Are you interested, Teal?
  7. Is there a way to set up direct communication with Teal? I’d love the opportunity to chat with her
  8. Finally, I’m at a point where I make less assumptions because I’ve noticed they accompany anxiety.....and after having a somewhat miraculous/transformative 4 hour “anxiety exposure” class which literally took my anxiety away (ie. anxiety taking up 50% of my life and now only 5%) it leaves me with that much more energy to learn new things.....be mindful....learn to live more freely/authentically. However-this message of assumptions is very powerful. I woke up in the morning to screaming that one of our dogs was losing all control of his bladder/bowels and immediately assumed he was dying (
  9. This resonates a lot with me and I’m now rediscovering my spiritual “gifts?” Beginning around age 6-7, I started having crazy dreams/visions/experiences that were thankfully not too scary but maybe too anxiety provoking that I learned to suppress them and was eventually medicated for narcolepsy. Now, I realize there was a lot of lucid dreaming going on. And, I’m looking at my very quirky kids/family, I realize I was truly not “normal.” I’d spend hours daily at our small town library at ages 9-12 researching astral projection, near death experiences, dreams and meanings, human behavi

    Work Ethic

I’ve had to hire/manage staff and unfortunately be in the position to have to fire a few over the years because they didn’t perform to the expected level. My mantra with working is to give 100% of my energy focus to what I’m expected to do.....I expect the same of others. Thankfully, we have been blessed to have the same staff stay with us for years at a time-they’re truly family.
  11. I was a sugar addict, too. Actually, not sure it’s possible to be cured of diabetes but was on insulin a year ago and now don’t even have high blood sugar. Literally woke up one day with an aversion to junk food......is that a thing? It’s as if someone else is controlling my body......I crave daily exercise and healthy, organic food! Not complaining but To me, it’s felt like a miracle as my body has “reset.” Chocolate is still Devine but the darker, the better.
  12. You’re a great mama-there are enough PTA moms (and hopefully dads) to benefit Winter and his classmates/school.

    Yellow Boots

Love, love, love! . My house is filled with memorable and happy treasures like your yellow boot. Being surrounded by them brings great joy and gratitude daily for those simple pleasures. My 12 y/o just gave up his “cowboy boots” which were women slippers his grandma got for him 2 years ago at a garage sale! Add in his green karate belt, Ethiopian headband and wristbands and occasional cape and he’s got style! I save memorable clothing and am planning on making quilts out of them.
  14. Thanks, Teal. As a foster mom for almost 20 years, relational/developmental trauma has been overwhelming at times in this life journey. We’ve had many babies that are already detached upon birth....and kids that have been through hell.....and their parents who had the same cycle. Thankfully our public school system and therapists are starting to “get it.” The foster care system in the USA is SO broken. And kids are literally being stripped from their biological connections. I’d be interested in hearing your views about foster care/adoption and best healing modalities for not only ch

    Seizures

Interesting info. on seizures. I’m wondering how that coincides with a seizure disorder-specifically Benign Rolandic Epilepsy which only affects kids and is “outgrown” by early adulthood?

    F*ck Cotton Balls

You described what I feel on a daily basis perfectly. Through some very fast/intense spiritual awakening in the past year, I’ve had to process what being extrasensory means. I always knew I was weird/quirky and can now embrace it. It wasn’t until my youngest child came (the only one I birthed-of 6 kids) that I realized this and it’s painful to “know” how hard his life is going to be and already has been. AND, my other 5 kids are also highly sensitive. I’m grateful to know this and make accommodations as needed. But, it’s exhausting........especially when a few of my kids are huge s
  20. I’d love to join an intentional community for the sake of my children. We feel so fortunate that we have a little bubble/village within our neighborhood, school and faith setting......yet I feel it’s still not enough. The world (USA) is a cruel place and there’s no way to feel it could be an optimal environment at this time and our kids are being traumatized in the process. I wish I could bring our village to a place like Costa Rica. If/when you’re considering families joining Teal Tribe in an intentional community in Costa Rica......we’d love to consider that as an option and be pa
