    Childhood Story

    So many movies and characters I've identified with and been obsessed with through out my life, but here are some of them: Lion King, Simba. The feeling of not belonging, having to abandon everyhing because I wouldn't be accepted. Also looking back now, the gaslighting and taking responsibility of things that weren't my fault. I always cried at the end when Simba steps into his power and takes his place as king. Like YESSS, you go Simba! Aladdin. Again, not belonging yet dreams of being seen and accepted, valued. Also I really wanted a magic carpet. So freedom. The Swan Princess, the Princess. I identified with the concept of being held captive and hidden, yet wanting to escape and rule the kingdom my way. The Parent Trap. I identified with both of the twins and loved the concept of a long lost twin out there somewhere!
