 What is your reality?  What do you currently believe?  If this were something you were believing just to escape from and avoid reality, how could that be true?  Often it is tied to identity or safety, which is why we hold onto it so tight.  For example, I believe everything will turn out the way it is supposed to.  Perhaps I am being in that reality because if I wasn’t, I would have to admit that the world is not benevolent and I have more responsibility than I feel capable of having.  Each takes a turn putting something they believe on the table and others suggest how it could be a way to escape reality… why you might be doing that.   Being outside reality or in denial is actually very dangerous because you’re powerless there.

Play out your life from where you are right now… Imagine nothing changes and you keep doing the exact same thing you’re doing today in one month, one year, two years, five years, ten years 20 years, 40 years, death bed.  What do you realize?
