Divorce after wife recalls childhood trauma

Hello,

After 29 years of marriage, my wife took a self defense class that triggered childhood trauma memories. From that point on, she shut down completely emotionally. She went from being the love of my life to an emotionless shell of a person. She now uses working out and social media to distract herself from her pain. She has been in therapy for more than a year but our once close happy relationship has slowly dwindled down to nothing and now starting the divorce process. I discovered that the Teal Swan videos have been very helpful to me, but I am still having many moments of severe sadness at the loss of what I thought would be my life partner. I guess my big question is how do I move on from this?

Thanks,
Jeff

“The Completion Process” is all about completing that which was left incomplete and then moving on.
