Where are memories stored?

Where are memories stored?

They must be stored outside of the brain because our brains decompose when we die but when we reincarnate it is possible to have memories from past lives. They are supposed to be stored in the Akashic records (collective consciousness) (here is the video Teal made about the Akashic records).

Current scientific theories state that the brain stores memories, but that may be wrong. Teal Swan wrote that

Quote

The nervous system (especially the brain) is the translator between non-physical and physical reality. In other words, it is the translator between pure consciousness and the body as it operates in the physical dimension.

and she wrote that the brain is an "intermediary device" between the physical and non physical (source). So then does this mean that the brain doesn't store information? I believe what Teal says.

I like that video, I'd say the memory exist in our awareness, I can't step in to your memory you can't in to my, I just can pretend possibilities what you remember

found some related video it suits Teal explanations:

I think memory is both in our awareness and in our subconscious mind, and that we can access other people's memories through the collective unconscious. But on a conscious level we can't unless you are psychic.

I think memory is in everything. Water is a good example. Trees. Animals.

Some go into meditation state to receive.  Some get it through different experiences. The point is simple- to allow it to flow through you. Ask a question.  Recognize it and understand. Also if it doesn't come right away that means it takes time. Here. It takes time to translate.
