Dealing With Emotional Overload....By Wearing a T-Shirt!

So I ordered from the shop two of Teal's designed short-sleeved t-shirts, Now, I consider myself very fortunate that I work at a place where there's really no established "dress code", so I have a collection of over 150 bright colored shirts (Most have a Hawaiian design,)  So I get them yesterday, wore one of them today. I work at a place called the Wellness Center here in San Joaquin County. I am a certified WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) facilitator. So myself and another facilitator started a new class today. Got through it OK, but as I was riding the bus home I started to feel MAJOR anxiety, where there was no rational explanation of it. So I come home, try to eat dinner, then I had to lay down so I took it off, and I got back to "normal". When I originally saw them in the shop I thought, hey these look cool, was a bit pricey, but I decided to treat myself. I'm just trying to make sense of it all, right now, so I'm wondering, how can I prepare myself for the next time I wear one?  I can't ask my friends and co-workers about it, so maybe the good  folks here can provide some insight. So there you go.
