I had an encounter with 2 policemen

Yesterday I had this encounter with 2 policemen. We talked very harsh with each other and in the ongoing conversation one of the policeman said to me: 80 years back you would be the first they transport to a concentration camp. 2 policeman who are practically fascists. It was really scary and I felt what tremendoues dangerous situation humanity is in, there is this danger that we loose everything.

Hi MatLock,

I’m sorry to hear of your negative experience with the police. I’ve known some that were very nice and helped me. So depending on the officer, the situation, if they are already having a bad day, etc, their actions and words may vary a lot.

I can imagine the experience you had was very scary, however, I would try not to generalize to even broader fears about the situation humanity is in, or feeling that there is a danger that humanity may loose everything. Doing so reinforces and builds on that energy.

Below are some Teal Swan videos having to do with fear. I hope this helps. - Aaron

Fixed a typo. Changed "builds not that" to "builds on that". Changed "I’ve know" to "I've known".

Actually i read the book shadows before dawn, it tells everything. Everyone who reads this book and works on himself is prepared for whatever future may come. It does not matter what is coming, it is not affecting you if you have learned to truly love yourself.

Hi MatLock,

Is there particular quotes from Shadows Before Dawn, or other works of Teal, that you conclude that "It does not matter what is coming, it is not affecting you if you have learned to truly love yourself." Because I haven't read that book (I'm waiting for the audio version), but watching Teal's videos and other content, I never I got that impression.

But I do think unconditional love, for yourself, and everyone else, is the answer to many of the challenges we face. For numerous reasons, the world seems to be in a precarious situation. And in any event, all physical life seems to go through death as surely as it comes from birth. And it also seems that none of us ever know that we will be alive tomorrow, or what our individual or community situation will be if we are alive. And it seems natural to feel some fear about that, especially when we have experiences that bring that further into our focus.

To the extent that those fears motivate actions that seem to help you now, or can be reasonably expected to help you in the future, then they are something important to notice. But many of us, myself included in the past, would continue to hold onto our fears, or expand on the fears, beyond their usefulness. And fear, being the opposite of love, can be tremendously harmful to the individual and their community.

So, I think the answer is to take whatever positive actions you feel drawn take having experienced the fear, and then focus on what brings you joy, to seek out what you desire in life, and to do your best to feel unconditional love for yourself and everyone else. Below is link to a video Teal did on unconditional love, and also on personal boundaries vs oneness, (which I think goes hand-in-hand with unconditional love.)

I wonder how the experience you had with the policemen might have been different if anyone had felt unconditional love in that moment.

I hope this too helps. Again, I wish you the best. - Aaron
