Ask Yourself...

#44

If my house was burning and I could only save one item (not a person or pet), what would it be and why?

(Answer In The Comments Below )
From "100 Of The Most Powerful Questions You Can Ask Yourself"

Nothing has the power to completely alter perspective and therefore your thoughts and actions and life quite like a question. Inquiry leads to understanding. The quality of the answers we arrive at, correspond directly to the quality of question we ask. The better the question, the better the answer. One of the most important things to realize about a question is that a person learns far, far more from the process and work involved in answering a question than from the answer itself. This is why spiritual teachers throughout history (including myself) have tended to pose so many questions to their students rather than to simply offer a direct answer. For this reason, I have selected a collection of 100 of the most powerful questions that you can ask yourself.

Make sure to take time to carefully consider each question that is posed in order to meaningfully answer them. And don’t forget to come back to these questions again and again throughout your life, especially whenever you are feeling stuck, because the answers will most likely change over the course of your life and also cause you to change your course in life.

I would save my completion process book that Teal wrote in, because it is the most sentimental and meaningful thing i have.   When i read the message, i feel seen and validated and ok with who i am.  I also remember the most meaningful week of my life when everything really shifted in a major way

My Massage therapist license, it took a lot out of me and I learned a lot in the process basically it’s a physical representation of what commitment looks like, and it’s what I’ll be my work so I can replace all the stuff I couldn’t take lol

It would be a clock or a picture or a cup from my grandmother.

Cause along the way I lost many small things I owned from her. Similar on the inside. While actually I hold her very dear, and she meant everything to me. I feel it's impossible I'll ever find anyone to replace her, or come even close to how she was, and I wont try it.

Im missing the relationship we had, and her guidance. And Im missing her overall kind spirited nature.

Clearly everything was meant to change. Is how I see it. Short of some kind of negligence causing the fire. But let it all go and use that loss as the manifestation of growth. And what grows from the ashes. who's to know? But the soil be fertile so a forest may grow.
