Ask Yourself...

#17

If I knew that I was going to die one year from today, what would I do with that time?

(Answer In The Comments Below )
From "100 Of The Most Powerful Questions You Can Ask Yourself"

Nothing has the power to completely alter perspective and therefore your thoughts and actions and life quite like a question. Inquiry leads to understanding. The quality of the answers we arrive at, correspond directly to the quality of question we ask. The better the question, the better the answer. One of the most important things to realize about a question is that a person learns far, far more from the process and work involved in answering a question than from the answer itself. This is why spiritual teachers throughout history (including myself) have tended to pose so many questions to their students rather than to simply offer a direct answer. For this reason, I have selected a collection of 100 of the most powerful questions that you can ask yourself.

Make sure to take time to carefully consider each question that is posed in order to meaningfully answer them. And don’t forget to come back to these questions again and again throughout your life, especially whenever you are feeling stuck, because the answers will most likely change over the course of your life and also cause you to change your course in life.

I would dive into life more and I would feel less anxious, not afraid of making mistakes. I would care less about what is the 'right' thing to do and listen to my heart. I would go to the beach more and I would go to the mountains more. I would paint even more and I would ride a bike. 🙂 Also I would be more generous.

Prioritize joy and not give a damn in what form it comes in, I would find such joy and gratitude in all the tiny things moment from moment. Revel in gratitude and the beauty of what is. Making joy gratitude and releasing resistance my top priority no matter where it would take me or how ugly and inferior I would be and finally accept myself to right now be without needing to change it. I’d be finally brwve enough to face my shadow and practice unconditional presence, I’d treat everyday with care. I’d make being in harmony with what is my absolute first priority. Even I’d I would have to commit emotional suicide to do it. I’d allow myself to be as I am. I’d allow myself to feel like shit. I’d be brave enough to do inquiry on my body image. Inquiry do anything to know myself and experience true joy.

I would stop being so hard on myself

I would take the leap to love myself and embrace the joy of being alive, I would feel others and make an effort for them to feel seen by me.

I would be with my fear and journey into myself to find the resonance of where I'll be heading back to

I would get a bigger car and caravan and take my family on a adventure to waterfalls and meet new people

Through the fear of loss I would feel again

Which is interesting because I already feel loss. I am releasing now all of this is just choice of my focus

I'd find a woman to love. I wouldn't make rejection or failure mean anything painful about me. In general I would stop making anything in life mean something painful about myself that would be inaccurate and simply self-hating.

I would ask my heart : "What is the message the you wish to share with the world the most ?", and I would make sharing it my number one priority.

Write an epic manifesto, sparing no one their truth.  Dance naked on the rooftops.  Leave a laughing ghost🖤

Instead of doing more with my last year. Id go back to every place I've been before. Every major memory. Good and bad. Reflect on my life. Make peace with my life. Change as many lives as I can on the way.

If I knew I was going to die one year from now, What would I do?  I would stop working. Then I would feel that feeling of "oh fuck," what relationships would I occupy my time with...  I would make some type of spending plan for how I was going to waste my money or leave my belongings to once I die.  I would start giving readings being able to stand by my truth, because why not.  I don't think I would do any more awareness or soul searching work.  I may become rigid, try to induce a metaling type of energy.  I would travel, live life on the go.  I would want an exciting end to life.  Meeting a bunch of new people.  I would ask my partner to join me.  Which would be plausible.  I would arrange my actions to help it be so he could move on more comfortably.  Maybe I would send letters, maybe not. Maybe I would just send the personal diary ones.  I would consider pregnancy... of some sort.  Not in a twisted way, but in truly self loving way.  I would be a lot more bold.  Be more daring with public speaking. Most definitely pool resources together to go see Teal at a curveball event.  Maybe...  I would need to be in alignment.  I would consider breaking up with my partner to be able to sleep with other people. But I would rather stay with him. I would try to purify as much as I could.  Crying and being around water.

I would live to the fullest.

I wouldn't spend any time longer beeing depressed and just go for what I want. Everyday.

I wouldn't worry about getting enough sleep.

I just go with the flow. And Ide be greateful and at peace. Ide share my heart and love openly. And wouldn't waste my time on petty shit.

I would use all my abilities and capacitys to the fullest.

I would spend that time with loved ones. My initial thought was to travel the world. But I already know where that would leave me...empty and I would be left feeling worthless because even if I had the opportunity to travel the world and the seven seas. It's really not my true desire and happiness. It's family. It's always been about settling down and having a family of my own. It would be spending the time that I had left to tell the world about what they need to know about love, and commitment.  Why is it so important if we all are going to return to dust anyway?? Well simply put with one word...devotion.
